Kenneth Dwyer, 87, of Pompton Plains, formerly of New York City, died Saturday, February 8, 2020.
Born in New York City, he was the son of Henry and Evelyn Dwyer. Raised in New York, he attended school there before earning his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Education from St. John's University.
Kenneth's career was spent teaching Math & Science in New York City's public schools. He retired in 1991, and in 2001 moved out of the city to Cedar Crest Village in Pompton Plains.
Kenneth is lovingly survived by his siblings, James Dwyer and his wife Joan, and Margaret Grey. He was predeceased by his parents, as well as his brothers, John in 1996, and Robert in 2015.
Visiting hours will be Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the funeral home. A funeral Mass will be held 11 am Saturday at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Pequannock. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Butler.
