Madeline Dellosso, 94, of Pompton Lakes, formerly of Clifton, passed away on October 30, 2019 in the loving care of her family.
Madeline was born and raised in New York City. She lived in Brooklyn, NY before settling in Clifton in 1962 where she and John raised their family. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Phillip the Apostle Church in Clifton and a member of the Rosary Society. In 2010, Madeline moved to her daughter’s home in Pompton Lakes. Over the past few years she enjoyed her time doing arts & crafts, painting, and socializing with friends at the Shepherd’s Haven Adult Day Care Center in Pompton Lakes. Devoted to her family, Madeline enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family and making the most out of every moment.
Madeline is survived by her sons, John and his wife Sandra and Patrick and his wife Minerva; her daughter, Madeline Denti and her husband Raymond; her brothers, John, Daniel, and Frank; her sister, Ann; her grandchildren, Joseph, John, Dana, Danielle and Raymond; and her great grandchildren, Mia, John, Hailey, Jenabelle and Jayden. Madeline was predeceased by her husband, John, and her brothers, Joseph and Patrick.
The family will receive visitors from 2-6 pm on Sunday, November 3 at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home.A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 am on Monday at St. Mary's RC Church, Pompton Lakes. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair.
