Amy Susan Pinto Yapaola, of Kinnelon, passed away on Tuesday, January 8th 2019.
Amy would be your friend for 5 minutes or 59 years - the only difference is how long you would let her. She lived for connections to others, and we knew her as a co-worker, teacher, friend, cousin, aunt, sister, daughter, mother, grandmother, and wife. However, these titles were not exclusive to each of her relationships, they were simply what you needed her to be at that moment, and she would always be there. We love you, Amy.
Amy was predeceased in life by her mother, Mary; father, Joe; and sisters, Joanne and Mary Ellen. She is survived by her husband, John; sons, Joe, Tony, and Kevin; daughter-in-law, Angela; grandchildren, John and Olivia; sister, Elissa Pinto Guner; mother and father in-law, Margaret and Anthony Yapaola; nieces, Amanda, Elena, Joanna, Jacqueline, and Victoria; and nephews, Mark, Justin, Ian, and Benjamin.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 11th from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Our Lady of the Magnificat, RC Church in Kinnelon. A funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Magnificat on Saturday, January 12th beginning at 10:30. Entombment will follow at the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Amy requested donations be made to Homeless Solutions Inc. via homelesssolutions.org or Homeless Solutions Inc., 3 Wing Drive, Suite 245, Cedar Knolls, NJ 07927.
