Harold T. Anderson, 92, a longtime resident of Pequannock, passed away on October 31, 2018.
Harold proudly served in the US Navy during WWII and the Korean Conflict and earned his bachelor's and master's degrees from Newark College of Engineering. Harold served as an elder at Pompton Valley Presbyterian Church and was an avid gardener and woodworker. He also loved animals and painting and always had a joke or story to tell.
Harold is survived by his wife of 63 years, Orrie; his sons, William and his wife Susan, and David; his brother, Edwin; his grandchildren, Jennifer Frey and Catherine Tobia; and his great grandson, Jack Tobia. He was predeceased by his brother, Ronald; and his sister, Doris.
Visiting hours will be held from 10 to 11 am Saturday, November 3 at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11 am. Interment will follow at First Reformed Cemetery, Pompton Plains.
