Milton A. Sabanosh, a long time resident of Pequannock, passed away on May 2, 2018 at the age of 99.
Milton proudly served in the US Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a member of the Masonic Silentia Lodge No. 168 & A.M. and was a Volunteer Firefighter for Pequannock Twp. Fire Co. #2. He was also active with the Boy Scouts while his children were young.
He is survived by his children, John Sabanosh and his wife Gail and Ann Marie Parr; his grandchildren, Justin Parr, John Sabanosh, Jr., Bonnie Parr and Christopher Sabanosh; and his great grandchildren, Kayla and Christopher Sabanosh; and his step-grandchildren, Kristy Kiehl and Dawn Braun. Milton was predeceased by his wife Gloria, daughter Nancy and sister Evelyn Evanko.
Visiting hours are from 4-8 pm on Sunday, May 6 at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains. A memorial service is scheduled for 10:30 am on Friday, May 18 at the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Pompton Plains.
