Obituary of Todd Botbyl
Todd Botbyl, 58, passed away on September 7, 2021.
Todd grew up in Pompton Plains, New Jersey and graduated from Pequannock H.S. He worked for many years as a road foreman for PSE&G and retired a short time ago.
Todd was a gentle giant who loved people and animals and was always surrounded by at least two Labrador retrievers. If anyone needed a helping hand, it was Todd who had his hand out first and was willing to do anything for others. He loved to cook as well as dine in upscale area restaurants. Todd was also an avid car enthusiast - from his little brown pedal car up to his 2018 Corvette convertible and every GTO and Camaro in between.
Todd is survived by his loving wife Betsy (Mc Donnell), his mother Carol Harper, his father Herb Botbyl and his wife Susan. Additionally, survivors include his Aunt Janice Riecker, his Uncle Roger Winters and cousins Don, Rick, and Kerri. He is predeceased by his brother Daryl, stepbrothers Greg and Brett Harper and stepfather Belwyn "Butch" Harper.
The family will welcome guests at the Scanlan Funeral Home for visitation on Monday, September 13, 2021 from 2 to 5 PM. A service will begin at 5 PM following the visitation and interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue, PO Box 638, Warrington, PA 18976 in memory of Todd.
Masks will be required when entering the funeral home.
