I have wonderful memories of visiting Gloria's home for tea with my Mother so we could see Gloria's latest antique acquisition. She was a women who had tremendous energy, and she never missed any of my house sales.

We will never have a person again in our lifetime with ingenuity and diversity like Gloria was. Her love and enthusiasm of antiques, country decorating and cooking exceeded anyone we know. Her artistry and sampler making was beyond. We gab chatted three times a day and in nice weather was in my backyard all the time. She was a little bundle, but a real powerhouse, also known as “The Force,” but her knowledge and wisdom, with many quotes from her mother, made you sit up and listen. I was lucky to have her as my friend for 25 years and we never felt the 33 year age gap. Her family was number one and she was so proud of you. Her great grandchildren were the apple of her eye as she told me how much she enjoyed watching Morgan dance and “the little man” Reece play with his trucks. The reunion with her beloved Ug, Don and Margie must have been something. Rest In Peace my friend. Know that you were a large piece in our quilt of life. I hope you are behaving yourself up there and btw, you have really good eyebrows...( I hear you laughing)

I am grateful to have known "Meem" and the DeMichino family. She was definitely a "one of a kind" and I'll remember times spent gathered around the table eating good food, sharing stories (mostly listening), discussing God and life acutely aware of advice that comes from someone who has lived many years. We shared a tear or two as well as much laughter. Tough as nails with a big heart. My favorite memory will remain of saying "I love you" when parting just to hear her say: "Love you more!" God bless, Meem, you have returned to the loved ones you have missed so much. Without a doubt, those that remain, have a special angel watching over. Until we all meet again...Love you more!
