Deborah Jane Brunner, age 60, died Saturday, March 20, 2021.
Known to her family as Debbie, she was born in Pompton Plains to her loving mother and father, Joan and Martin Brunner. Raised in Pequannock, she graduated from Wayne Hills High School.
Debbie loved life, and had an infectious laughter. She adored all animals, but especially her fish, her rabbit, and her dog, Buster.
Living in Pequannock for most of her life, Debbie also moved around northern New Jersey several times in the last two decades. She made many friends and greatly enjoyed the time she spent at the Explorer Post 136 in Pompton Lakes.
Debbie was a loving daughter, sister, and friend to many. She is lovingly survived by her mom, Joan Brunner; her siblings, Todd Brunner and his fiance Terry, Jeff Brunner and his wife Marlaine, and Laurie Murphy and her husband Thomas; as well as her nieces, Meghan, Kirsten, and Madalyn; and her nephew, Brett. She was preceded in death by her father, Martin Brunner.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4-7:30 pm at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 7:30 pm to conclude the visitation period. Cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Debbie's memory to the Explorer Post 136 in Pompton Lakes, or to the Pequannock Township Animal Shelter, would be greatly appreciated by her family.
