Sending my deepest condolences to Mario and family of my good friend Dra. Lilia. Saddened by her death although I knew she was going from the sound of her voice when I talked with her about 3 weeks ago through Magic Jack. Am now also glad that she is no longer in pain but happy with our Lord in Heaven. Goodbye my very kind and thoughtful classmate. Till we meet again in Heaven.

To my sister-in-law Lilia, I will miss you. We had frequent, good and long chitchats before your passing. That is very memorable to me. Since your diagnosis, we kept on praying and offering mass. I love you. Love, Atche Tess

From Don N. Ventura...
LILIA has always showered me with care. Years ago, while I was still a student in Manila, LILIA would sell her medical books at the end of one semester so that I will have the money to enroll for the next semester. She also shared with me her allowance, meager though it was. I would not be a CIVIL ENGINEER if not for LILIA's generous help. I am what I am today because GOD used my sister LILIA as a CHANNEL OF LOVE.
From LILIA, I learned the true essence of SHARING, which is contrary to human nature especially when it entails sacrifice. From LILIA, I learned that CARING is a word that knows no boundaries. From LILIA, I learned that LOVE is contagious!

A kind, gentle and generous woman, who wasn’t just a good doctor, but also a good wife, a good mother and grandmother, a good sister and aunt, but what I would most remember about Aunt Lily is her love for Lola Apo, she often called, wrote letters, came home when Apo can’t go to the U.S. She was so good with her hands that she also sent her art works like woodcrafting and elaborate embroideries, that was displayed all over our old home in Cabalantian. Aunt Lily, may you rest in peace in God’s light and Mama Mary’s loving protection together with all our loved ones who moved on to the eternal life.

I only know this extraordinary woman through her daughter Limarie. But through that lens I know what an amazing person she was. She managed to have a family and an outstanding professional career (not easy at any time!).She and her husband built a beautiful life and gave so much to their children and grandchildren, and even other family members, and hers is a powerful, loving, and lasting legacy. My condolences to my friend Lim, and to Lilia’s entire family.

Auntie Lily, thank you so much for taking care of me when I first arrived to the US. I wouldn't have a chance at my American dream if it weren't for you. I really wanted to visit you again with my kids after covid has passed. My only hope is that I will be able to pass on the great generosity you have showered me with to somebody else. May you rest in peace. Lots of love and prayers, ❤ Gia
