I remember Mario always talking about his sons and how proud he was of their dedication to scouting, and of their progress to earning the Eagle Scout rank. This was only matched by his dedication to attending every game they played in, and how he mentored them in all aspects. His pride in all they accomplished shone brightly in him and was the measure of the man. Kenneth and Michael, please know that your dad was your most devoted fan, and I am confident that he had the same feelings for your children. Rest in peace my friend.

We met Mario years ago and took a liking to him immediately. We had similar interests in “old” time baseball. He loved his Brooklyn Dodgers and I loved my lowly Washington Senators He was wearing his LA Dodgers baseball hat when we first met. True Blue for sure. . He did our tax returns and had a knack of being a calming influence with some perplexing issues. He spoke volumes of his family, particularly his grandchildren. We kidded about my favorite bumper sticker: “ If I knew grandchildren were going to be this much fun, I would have had them first. “ Great guy we will miss him. Rob and Nancy Riva. RIP pal!!

I met Mario many years ago through NJ NATP. We spent time together when we both served on the Chapter Board. We had the baseball connection with him being a Dodger fan and me being a Yankee fan. Lots of teasing back and forth. I will always remember when we were all at the NATP National Conference in Atlanta. Whenever we went out to dinner as a group, both Mario and Willie Lau would always walk on the outside, nearer the curb, to protect all of the women in the group. Real gentlemen!
Mario and I also shared another connection; his wife and my husband died on the same day- July 11th- exactly one year apart.

Very sad to hear this news. He was a great man and I am very thankful for his kindness, guidance, inspiration, and generousity throughout my childhood. I will always remember Mr. T as Forever Dodger Blue and as a role model in parenting with his unmatching devotion and dedication to his family. He was a great man and will be sorely missed.. please let me know if there is anything we can do to help. Love you Mr. T!! R.I.P

I am truly sorry to hear of Mario's passing. I had originally met Mario through the New Jersey Chapter of NATP. Through the NATP Chapter, Mario and I had worked on a few projects together. Mario had been very proud of the fact both of his sons are Eagle Scouts. He would wear the parents' pins on his collar at NATP Chapter meetings. About ten years ago, he had suggested that the NATP Chapter sponsor children to Boy Scout Camp. Through Mario's efforts the NJ-NATP Campership Program was established for Boy Scouts in New Jersey. Since its inception, the program has helped over twenty scouts attend summer camp.

My condolences to the family - growing up as a good friend with Michael, I can clearly see Mario smirking and laughing around the Tripaldi house, leaning on the fence at one of Ken or Mike’s baseball games at borough park and enjoying a slice of pizza - I’m sure the great man will be missed by many.

I am so sorry to hear of Mario’s passing. I know how much he loved and cared for Madeline. I know how proud he was of his son’s. We did not speak often but I was guaranteed a call on my birthday each year. During those calls he always told me of Kenneth and Michael’s accomplishments. My prayers are with his family. Rest In Peace Mario.

So many wonderful memories of Mario from years ago when we lived in the USA. ever the family man. Ready smile, just such a “warm” human being. As a family you must be missing him greatly. You have my sympathy. I know it hurts.

So very sad to hear of Mario's passing. I knew him through our work with NATP. We worked together for the organization for several years. Our whole group had fun at several conferences together in many locations. He had a great sense of humor. Mario obviously adored his wife and family as he often talked about them with a big smile. I will always remember him with a baseball cap on and a pair of jeans. He will truly be missed. May wonderful memories bring comfort to his family in the days ahead.

I met Mario at my very first NATP National Conference held in Boston in 2006. Such a nice man. Love of accounting and taxes were common interests and we become fast friends. He will be missed! Please accept my deepest sympathies on your loss.
