Angelo Stivali, 96, of Pequannock passed away February 2, 2021.
Angelo was born in Montclair NJ and settled with his family in Pequannock for 62 years. He was a proud engineer for NJ Department for Transportation for more than 40 years and was grateful he was able to achieve his title and what he did for a living. He also volunteered at Chilton Medical Hospital delivering papers for 25 years.
Angelo adored his golden retrievers which were his grand puppies and treated them as family. He loved his home and his yard. He always made sure his landscaping was maintained and neat. He was very independent but always surrounded himself around family and made sure they were taken care of.
Angelo is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Anna and his daughter Connie Wanger and her husband Robert. He is predeceased by his parents, his brother and four sisters.
A Funeral Mass will be held 10am at Holy Spirit Church in Pompton Plains. Interment will take place at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair following Mass. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Conventual Franciscan Friars, Holy Spirit RC Church or Saint Aloysius Catholic Church in memory of Angelo.
