Obituary of Adele M Forster

Adele Forster, 90, passed away January 19, 2021.

Adele was born to Thomas and Mae Padula and grew up in West New York. She married her late husband Robert in 1954 and raised their three children in Ridgefield NJ. Since 2013, Adele has been residing at Cedar Crest Village.

Adele had a passion for theater art. She volunteered in Ridgefield town theaters as stage manager or any help they needed. Her passion carried on when she resided in Cedar Crest Village. She acted in and worked as stage manager in many productions in various theater guilds. She was devoted to her faith and would volunteer as a Eucharistic minister for St. Matthews Church in Ridgefield and enjoyed attending the services at Cedar Crest Chapel when available. When Adele and Robert were on vacation, one of their passions was to go on a hike wherever they were traveling to. They loved to indulge in the different sceneries they were able to see from NJ to Colorado.  

Adele is survived by her children Patricia Tiseo and her husband Frank, Susan Rambeau and her husband Timothy, Nancy Stripp and her husband Steven; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Adele is predeceased by her late husband Robert.

The family will welcome guests Thursday January 21, 2021 from 3-7pm for visitation. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:15am at St. Matthew’s Church in Ridgefield NJ. Entombment will follow at Madonna Cemetery in Fort Lee. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, the funeral home has a capacity of 37 people in the building at a time. You may be asked to wait till capacity is available so please dress accordingly.
