Carol Ruth Carpinelli (nee Brown), who was known to most simply as "Cack", died at home Sunday, October 23, 2022 in the care of her loving family.
Born in Paterson, Carol was one of six children born to Richard and Ruth Brown. Raised in Prospect Park, she was a graduate of Manchester High School.
Settling in Pequannock, she lovingly raised her three children there. Throughout raising her family, she held a more than 30 year career as the Office Manager for Spa 23 in Pompton Plains.
Marrying Gabriel Carpinelli on March 27, 1994, the couple remained in Pequannock until moving to Butler.
Special times for Carol and her family were always found in Point Pleasant, where the family would vacation every summer for nearly two decades. Carol loved the Boardwalk, Jenkinsons, and playing games like "Crane Master" with her kids and grandkids. She adored her family, and would do anything for them. Even while she was sick, she would call up her kids to offer to buy them a pizza. She was a really good mom, and a really great "Mammy" to her grandkids.
Carol was always a spunky, but classy, fashionista. She loved getting all dolled up, and was always in heels (even when she wore flip-flops, they were heels!). Carol was always put-together and dolled up for every occasion.
Her favorite past-times were reading (and she leaves behind a pile of books to prove it). She also loved to play scratch-off lottery tickets, and enjoyed trips to the casinos in Atlantic City.
Carol was a generous soul, and gave to every charity that advertised their need to her. In her memory, donations in lieu of flowers to a charity of your choice are greatly appreciated.
She is lovingly survived by her husband, Gabriel Carpinelli; her children, Ronald A. Reichert Jr. and his wife Danielle, Amber Regeling and her husband James, and Trisha Culotta; her sister, Ruth Voit and husband John; her grandchildren, Benjamin, Samantha and Elijah Reichert, James and Julia Regeling, and Jimmy Culotta; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Charles, Ron, Rich and Judy Brown.
Funeral services are being held privately for the family.
Please keep Carol in your hearts, and remember her three Cardinal Rules: Never forget where you came from, Don't get too big for your britches, and never be too cool to cry.
Rest in Peace, Cack. You will be missed.
