Madeline Brown passed away peacefully on Oct. 5, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was 89.
Madeline graduated from Berganfield High School, and then worked as a secretary for Comfort Coal in New York City. After marrying and moving to Bloomingdale, she worked as a clerk at Ben Franklin in Meadtown and later a folding machine operator, collator, and booklet maker at The Milart Press in Bloomingdale.
She enjoyed painting, coloring, playing games, doing crossword puzzles, and being with her family.
Madeline was the beloved wife of the late Donald M. Brown, Jr. Loving mother of Carol Hazekamp (Gary) and Linda Kraft (Edmund), cherished grandmother of Amanda, Lisa, Janet, and Jason, and great grandmother of six. Devoted sister of Dorothy Anthony and the late Theodore Monson.
