Charlotte Margaret Hardaker, 90, of Pompton Plains, passed peacefully on January 6, 2018.
Born February 14, 1927, Charlotte was a loving, supportive, and compassionate mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and devoted friend to many.
Charlotte is survived by her husband, Watson "Bud"; her son, Kenneth Hardaker (Dara); her daughters, Lynne Hardaker, Chris Conahay (Mike), and Sharon Garner; her grandchildren, Brandon, Jessica, Brittany, Jenelle, Taylor, Danny, Angelina, Jianna and John; and her great grandchildren, Madison and Mackenzie. She was predeceased by her son, James in 2001.
Friends and family may celebrate Charlotte and visit from 2-4 & 7-9 pm on Tuesday, January 9 at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains. A funeral service will be held 10 am on Wednesday, January 10 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the First Reformed Church Cemetery, Pompton Plains, where Charlotte will be laid to rest beside her beloved son James.
Following graveside services at the First Reformed Church, all are invited to celebrate the life of Charlotte Hardaker at the Bible Christian Fellowship Church, 105 Mountain Avenue, Pompton Plains.
