Sophie Preuss, 80, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 in Lincoln Park.
Born and raised in Germany to Alfred and Adele Weber, Sophie settled in Pequannock and was a resident there for the last 49 years. She was employed by the Nabisco Company in Fair Lawn for 30 years until her retirement. She was a member of the German Club in Dover and Clarke and loved to dance and play golf. Sophie will be fondly remembered as a social butterfly by those who knew her. Sophie is survived by her daughters, Ingrid Grondin and Brigitte Vindeni and her husband, Kenneth; her grand daughter, Kristin Josephs and her husband, Seth and her great grandson, Dylan Josephs. She was predeceased by a daughter, Monika Messinger. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Saturday from 1-4 p.m. A funeral service will take place during the visiting hours. |
