Ileane “Ida” Lockwood, 79, a longtime resident of Haskell, passed away on February 3, 2012.

Born in Paterson, Ileane was the daughter of Harry and Rose Rubin.  She married Clifford Lockwood in 1955 together the couple raised their family in Haskell.  A member of the Pompton Lakes Senior Citizen Club, Ileane’s two loves in life were her family and good food.

Ileane is survived by her sons, Steven and his wife Connie, and Robert; her daughters, Alberta Chalileh and her husband Matthew, Connie Goldman and her husband Harry, Diane Stupski and her husband Jeffrey, and Amy Albert; her brothers, Jerome Rubin and Philip Rubin; her sister, Evelyn Blankenstein Holt; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband, Clifford; her son, David; and her daughter, Barbara.

Visiting hours will be held Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains.  A funeral service will take place at 8:30 pm.  Interment will be 11:30 Tuesday at Rosedale Cemetery, Orange.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Diane Stupski for the care of Robert Alan Lockwood would be greatly appreciated by the family.
