Mary Kim Sneyers, 61, a resident of Boonton Township for the last year and formerly of Pompton Lakes peacefully passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2012.

Mary Kim will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her commitment to family and friends, as well as, the ability to brighten everyone’s day were a few of her most admirable qualities. Also, her fondness and compassion for animals was evident in her caring for her beloved pets.

Mary Kim was born in Tokyo, Japan to the late Leonardo and Yoshie Spinoso. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Joseph; her two sons, Joseph and his wife Amy and Shawn; her brother, Leonard Spinoso and his wife, Linda Marie and their children, Victoria and Nicholas; her grandchildren, Joseph and Matthew Sneyers, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home in Pompton Plains on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Pompton Lakes. Cremation will be private.
