Raymond Joseph Pontecorvo, Jr., 54, passed away on December 26, 2011.
Raymond lived in Pequannock with his loving family and loved spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid fan of the NY Yankees, NY Giants, and the NY Islanders. He graduated from DePaul High School in 1975 and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Seton Hall University. He later worked alongside his father and uncle at Carnival Spot Restaurants for many years.
Raymond is survived by his mother, Sally Pontecorvo, and four sisters, Donna Thompson, JoAnn Pontecorvo, Elisa Fuss and her husband Ray, and Teresa Turner and her husband Dr. Craig Turner. He also leaves behind twelve loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated 10 am Friday, December 30 at Holy Spirit RC Church, Pequannock. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. The family will receive visitors on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains.
