K iera is Charlie’s daughter and the fourth generation of Scanlan funeral professionals. A 2003 graduate of Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, PA, she earned her degree in Mortuary Science after graduating from the American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in 2006. She is a member of the New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association. An avid runner, Kiera and her husband Thor welcomed their son, Espen Joseph, into the world on August 13, 2010. The new parents and their black lab, Emma, are all doing well.
